Hello everyone, my name is Jenny Chaloupka, and I would like to run for the WALH Board of Directors. I have attended this camp for 12 years and have been an active Board Member for a few years now as well as a few years in the past. Before attending WALH, I went to MDA kids camp for many years. I really enjoy coming to camp and love to help make camp an awesome time. I am also a board member of our family’s nonprofit organization, Michael’s Helping Hands. In college, I was involved in two organizations where I was elected to the Board for 3 years each. I have experience and skills in graphic design and would be happy to help with anything that needs to be done. Currently, I assist my mom (Julie) with graphics/materials and planning for fundraising events and Summer Camp. As a board member, I will strive to contribute unique ideas for summer camp and improve communication throughout the organization. Currently on the board, I run the social committee (we plan and run activities for the WALH family) and help with the marketing, fundraising and camp committees.
